Martin 'Marty' Baron was executive editor of The Washington Post from January 2013 to February 2021. Under his watch, the newsroom grew from 580 to nearly 1,000 journalists. Throughout his career, his editorial teams won 17 Pulitzer Prizes, ten at the Post. He was editor of The Boston Globe, where he won six Pulitzers.
