Is general director of El Tiempo from Colombia. He is a social communicator and journalist from Universidad del Valle and holds a master's degree in Political Science from Universidad Javeriana. In 1993 he was one of the first graduates of the School of Journalism created by El Tiempo. In his 27-year career at the newspaper he has been correspondent in Cali, journalist of the Nation and Politics sections, regional editor in the capital of Valle, Justice editor, editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief before becoming deputy editor. He was distinguished with the Simón Bolívar award for Young Journalism and with the national award of the Journalists Circle of Bogotá in the press category. Recognized lecturer and mentor on issues related to the development and dissemination of content on digital platforms.
